Further News about Servas Workshop Camp for Young Adults, Medesano (Italy) from August 20th to 30th,2002.
- How to reach us
The location of the camp is an house on the hills at 3,5 Kms from Medesano, which is a small town near Parma (in the north Italy).
If you arrive by plane to Milano take a train (direction Bologna- Rome); after apprx. 60 minutes stop in Fidenza and well be there to fetch you.
- Accomodation
In common rooms, max 6 persons each, furnished with berths or single bed. We suggest to bring your sleeping bag.
Please let us know if you are vegetarian.
The program is:
Cooking and housecaring together
Training about the nonviolent handling of the conflict
Workshop about hospitality and its diffusion as an instrument of peace-making
Manual activities in the near RiverTaro Park (such as marking out paths or visitor areas)
Artistic and historical visits of the city of Parma
Visit to a factory of the very famous Parmesan cheese
Possibility of some moments of spirituality and meditation
Moonlight-parties and bon-fires
And more
